Some comments about the Ceramics Workshops:

"Conrad had to deal with a lot of new experiences on his first visit. Meeting the teachers, and pupils as well as being observed. Worked well with all colleagues, a succesful workshop. Looking forward to next week."
Mrs Maria Ryan . Year 5 Teacher Sacred Heart primary.

"Conrad's workshop was exciting and stimulating for the children, giving them the opportunity to work with a real artist. Good cross- curricular links made."
Alison Gibbs . Year 5 Teacher Sacred Heart primary.

"The workshop was fun and enjoyed by both children and parents. Conrad's instructions were easy to understand and was explained in simple sections that all the children were able to follow. He gave clear examples of what they could achieve by the end of the workshop and then each child was then able to design their own clay plaque to take home. After designing the plaque they were shown different paint techniques using tools that the children were familiar with (sponges, Lego, brushes etc.). The parents were very pleased that the clay and paint used were all washable and safe for children and many asked if this workshop can be put on again in the future."

' My first time to the workshop with St Josephs Infant school. I didn't know what to expect but was very impressed. Conrad was excellent with the children. It was fun and exciting. By the look on childrens faces they were all having a great time. Thank you Conrad for a very enjoyable morning - Marion Coyne, Teaching assistant.

'I brought my class of 30 to the Hat Factory Friday 3.7.09. We were welcomed by Jackie who then introduced us to Conrad. Conrad was doing a workshop with the children. He spoke very clearly to the children and explained exactly what they had to do. The children are only 7, and they listened inately and followed his instructions. I went around taking photographs and all children and adults were engaged in what they were doing, and enjoyed their learning. They had a fantastic time. I would highly recommend Conrad to do a workshop with children and look forward to bringing future classes.
Mrs Keenan, class teacher St Josephs infant school.

' The children have had a fantastic time at the workshop. One child was heard to say -  'this is the best art lesson ever' , they loved the opportunity to freely explore with clay and paint and design their own plaque. We will definately come if possible. It is also great that they can take their piece of artwork home with them.
